1. Every publication brought out by the ECS research publishing house undergoes a peer review process.
  2. Research monographs submitted for publication are evaluated by independent reviewers from outside the author’s affiliated academic institution. These reviewers are leading specialists in the relevant field, recognised academics with a significant body of work.
  3. Reviewers must hold at least a doctoral degree and conduct research in a discipline corresponding to that of the paper under review.
  4. The review process is anonymous: neither the reviewer nor the author knows each other’s identity.
  5. Each review is provided in written form and includes a clear recommendation from the reviewer regarding whether the text should be published, rejected or accepted with necessary revisions.
  6. If the reviews are positive, the text proceeds to typesetting, page make-up and printing.
