CZEŚĆ! is a programme for new residents of Gdańsk, implemented at the European Solidarity Centre since 2014. The main purpose of the project is to support people with migration and/or refugee experience in the process of adapting to a new city. The programme is aimed at anyone who needs support in the migration process. No matter how long they have been living in the Tri-City. We meet regularly for workshops, walks and discussions to practise Polish, learn about the city’s possibilities, its history and the cultures it brings together. We find answers to difficult questions about legalising your stay, labour law, cultural differences and other issues that may seem obvious but help you settle in, such as ecology or the activities of non-governmental organisations.
Above all, however, we create a community, a safe space for conversation, new friendships and unconditional support.
The meetings are held as part of the ‘Pomorskie Welcome Centre’ project, co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund for 2021-2027.
